Full Reveal Front Porch Kit "Gather Together"

Today is the day the full kit is revealed!! Here's a photo of the complete kit. The kit will be available for pick up and/or shipment on Thursday, 10/29. If you would like to pre-order, you can do so at the Little Blue House, by phone (817) 431-7930, or order online at www.thelittlebluehouseonline.com.

And here are my projects that I was so inspired to create!

First is my pie pan wall hanging. I spray painted the pan a light aqua color and then layered  the inside of the pan with papers and diecuts. For the outer paper edge, I cut a large doily using my Silhouette and wrapped it on the outer edge of my pan. I popped up my title and diecuts in the center of the pan, then adhered some beads to the leaves.
Next is my little owl. I used the dish cloth from the kit attaching yarn for the legs. I cut the wings from the blue burlap and then stiffened them with fabric stiffener before attaching them the owl.
This is my single page layout using the gorgeous paper by Simple Stories. I cut the crossed arrows using my Silhouette Cameo as well as the title. I used the round center of the page on a previous project (the center of the pie tin wall hanging) so I simply backed the page with the blue woodgrain piece and started layering. I heat embossed the chipboard branches with gold embossing powder, then layered the owl on top if it.

Next up is my treat bag that I filled with yummy candies for my daughter! I made a little paper weave for the front of my bag, then used the packaging from the diecut pieces in the kit to make a little shaker tag to hang off of the front.

Here is a card that I made by fussy cutting the truck from one of the journal cards from one of the pieces of patterned paper. I had a small scrap of blue burlap leftover so I layered it under the truck for more interest and texture.
Last project is my two page layout featuring photos from Thanksgiving. I love the tiny fork and spoon included in the kit. It was fun to use on my layout!

Quick Fall project made for The Little Blue House Blog

I made this really quick cute treat bag made for the "After Dark" Crate Paper Collection - perfect for some fall yummies!

I simply stamped my sentiment with letter stamps between the gold glitter stripes which were already on the bag. I cut some leaves using my Silhouette Cameo and Crate Paper and then spritzed the leaves with fall colored spray mists. Spraying the mists caused the leaves to curl up when dried - making them look like real fallen leaves - so I used a tiny pop dot in the center of each leaf to attach to the bag, leaving the curls in them to give texture to my treat bag. I adhered some ribbon at the top and bottom of the bag to frame my title.

Quick, easy and a fun way to share some treats with someone you love!
